the first half was very close with never more than 1pt between the teams,it was score for score for the first 20min james califf with 4pt for the home side,pats then went a point ahead but the dreadnots replied with a brace of points from califf and liam shevlin leaving it 0-6 to 0-5 at the break
pats came out all guns blazing in the second half and with a goal and a point went three clear,dreadnots however rallied and leveled the game again on 42min with two more from califf and a single from pepe smith 0-09 to 1-06 for the remaining 18min pats showed their class out scoring dreadnots 0-10 to 0-02 and ran out comfortable winners on a scorline of 1-16 to 0-11
