Played in clogherhead on saturday evening last this sheelin cup game was entertaining, there was never any more than 3pts between the teams and both sides held a 3pt lead at different stages,after 20min plunketts led by one 0-05 to 0-04 until a chris mulroy single and a goal by the evergreen darren malone gave dreadnots the lead but that was short lived because the plunketts got a goal and a point of their own to lead it 1-5 to 1-6 at half time

the second half was much the same and after the plunketts scored a second goal they led until the last 10min,dreadnots to their credit rallied and reeled off three unanswered points from ciaran cunningham,chris mulroy and pat lynch to level the match before referee stephen johnson blew for full time
