| Thrilling game in Roche sees home team win by narrowest of margins |

This game was pulled forward from Saturday evening and turned out to be a good lively afare. The opposing teams were a head by six points at different times during the game which flowed up and down the field with fortunes shifting from one team to the other over the hour. The Joes moved six points ahead in the first half only to be hauled back and over taken by Roche before the short whistle by two points. Half time score, Roche 1-7 Joes 1-5.
In the second half Roche moved six ahead before the Joes pulled it level with a second goal. This gave a trilling final period which seen Roche finish in front by the minimum margin, final score was Roche 1-14 Joes 2-10. Kevin Callaghan completed the game with a tally of 1-6 with Barry O'Hare scoring 3pts, Robert O'Hanlon 2pts, with Tom Quigley, Liam Carthy and Owen O'Hare a point each.
