The John Torpey Schools of Excellence will take place at Croke Park on Monday 4th July. Louth along with Armagh, Cavan, Clare, Limerick, Waterford, Laois and Westmeath will be taking part in this year's activity day at Corke Park. They will be involved in a range of activities, including camogie blitz games; player coaching; nutrition and preparation as well as a coaching clinic with current inter-county camogie players. This U14 team have been training since February and have attended blitz days in Monaghan as well as hosting a blitz on Easter Monday in Darver Centre of Excellence and was attended by Carlow, Wicklow, Meath and Louth.

Congratulations to Voreen Quigley, 2010 Leinster Champion who successfully defended her Louth title which took place in Collon at the end of May. The best of luck to Voreen on 6th July in the Leinster Finals.


St. Kevins will represent Louth for the second time in three years at Feile na nGael which takes place in Galway next weekend. The best of luck to St. Kevins and to Blaithin McDonagh-Sharkey from St. Bride’s who will represent Louth in the individual Skillstar competition in Athenry over the weekend.
